Signs of Worship

ASL (American Sign Language to Worship Music)

The first time I ever saw signing done to worship music, I knew I had to learn it! Now it's a passion of mine, it's almost like miming (acting out a story through body motions, without use of speech). At least weekly I'll be updating this part of the site. Talking about signing, my experiences, along with others I know who do it. I'll also be adding instructions on how to sign and as time permits some videos to help you learn to sign and/or just enjoy watching it.

Experience different types of worship, it can help bring the spirit to life. I was raised in church, but it was the same thing every week and my spirit became stale for the worship. So, allow yourself to try different types of worship and find what touches and brings your spirit to life.

Also remember in differnt seasons of our life we may need different kinds of worship. I'm speaking from personal experience when I say this. When I'm down due to a traumatic event in my life I need one thing, where when I'm happy and things are going great I need something else. Find what works for you and your spirit, we're all different and so our needs are different. I only say this because I was raised thinking it had to be done one way and one way only, took me years to find out that I needed what worked for me. My personal worship is between me and God and it's what works to bring me into His presence.
